Hooray for our WDS Parents
Woodstock Day School encourages an active and involved parent body. Parents commit to 25 volunteer hours at the school, and those hours take many forms: from serving as a lunch mom or dad during the Early Childhood lunch period, to baking cookies for the school store, to participating in our annual Buildings and Grounds Days where we prepare the campus for winter and for spring, to building shelves in the Chem Lab.
There are many ways to be involved at WDS. Family events, such as our annual Harvest Festival, Book Fair, or the all-school spring Musical, bring parents together in a celebratory way. Our Parents Association serves as a liaison between parents and classroom teachers, ensuring that all teachers get the support they need and all parents get the information they need. We actively encourage parents to bring their passions and special skills to share with students of all ages. The families who make up our school community pour a great deal of personal time and energy into making WDS a better place, and a better experience, for all of our students.
