Development: Fundraising and Events
The Development Committee consists of a chair/member of the Board of Trustees and other members of the school community appointed by the Board. Working closely with other school committees, its mission is to advise and help drive the fundraising efforts of the school. It is responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring all of the fundraising activities in an ethical and cost effective way. The DC is also responsible for supporting the leadership and participation of all Trustees in fundraising efforts and assuring ongoing parent participation.

Parents’ Association Purpose
Woodstock Day School Parents’ Association provides opportunities for parents to actively contribute to the school’s mission and goals. The WDSPA promotes a shared sense of purpose through which the school’s community is strengthened and enriched.
The WDSPA supports WDS through:
• Assisting teachers in classroom tasks that enhance our children’s educational experience
• Welcoming new and returning families
• Organizing social, educational and cultural events that promote community involvement and support

The Technology committee is responsible for the development of technical solutions in response to the curriculum and administrative needs of the school. The scope includes: phone system; campus network; faculty/campus computing platforms; software; Student Information System; Learning Management Systems.
Sports

The WDS Sports Committee seeks to support the growth of physical education and interscholastic sports for all members of the school. We will provide a forum for students, parents & faculty to assist in developing a vision for and improving the quality of the PE and sports programs, as well as recommendations to the WDS Board pertaining to the future of these programs. We also seek to help improve communication to parents, students and all other members concerning PE and sports at WDS, as well as build awareness and spirit within the WDS community.
Our committee is open to any WDS parent or faculty member who believes they can contribute to the above mission with a positive attitude and the ability to work well within our group
