Woodstock Day School/ Children’s Center Alumni Association
Welcome to the new Alumni Association for the Woodstock Day School and the Children’s Center. Both schools hold very important places in many, many people’s hearts and we hope that you will join us in keeping the philosophy and community alive. The main purpose of the Alumni Association is to strengthen, broaden and deepen the alumni-school connection through community participation and programs that embody the philosophy of our school. Another part of this participation is the development of an Alumni Assistance Fund. All funds raised by the Alumni Association will go toward tuition assistance and promoting academic and arts programs throughout the school.
We invite and encourage all alumni to please join us and the exciting projects and opportunities we are creating for alumni to participate and reconnect with the WDS/ CC’s multi-faceted community. For alumni to get involved in school life in ways that correspond to their interests and are in step with the needs and goals of the school.
The Woodstock Day School/ Children’s Center Alumni Advisory committee, currently made up of 4 volunteers and growing, is charged with expanding our alumni program and developing more activities and events to strengthen the involvement of our alumni in the daily life of the school.
The Alumni Assistance Fund is our way to give back to the students and our school. We wish to embark on an annual fundraising campaign, the proceeds of which provide financial assistance to current families through tuition assistance. There is no greater example of the school philosophy than former students helping deserving young people gain access to a Woodstock Day School education. And no greater confirmation that our founding principles of diversity, inclusion, and commitment to community remain with our students as they move into the larger world.
