WDS, like all independent schools, cannot rely solely on tuition revenue to support our program and operations. We also count on community participation in our fundraising Events and charitable tax-deductible contributions to our Unrestricted Annual Fund.
The Annual Fund helps pay for the essentials our school needs every day to ensure that the quality of our program remains strong. Allowing us to maintain current tuition levels for this school year, Annual Fund also provides for the financial aid budget we require to maintain an economically diverse student population.
This year WDS seeks 100% participation for the Unrestricted Annual Fund to realize our fundraising goal of $190,000. Achieving this level of commitment from the community will improve our capacity to qualify for grants and matching funds that will further expand our resources and capacity for development.
Our current enrollment of 175 students would require a donation of $1,085.00 per student to reach this year’s Annual Fund 100% participation Goal. Realistically, we anticipate WDS families to give both above and below this amount as they have in the past. Any and all donations are welcome!
Your support of WDS Events is just as important as your Annual Fund donation, but only unrestricted donations apply to our percentage of participation. Please contribute to the Unrestricted Annual Fund so that we can insure 100% participation. Please give as generously as possible so that we can realize this vital funding goal!
How To Make A Gift: Gifts of cash, by check, or credit card are the easiest gifts to make. They are also tax deductible in the year given. Woodstock Day School also gratefully accepts pledges – gifts that are paid over time. Pledge commitment schedules are devised based upon your wishes.
You may be able to double or even triple your gift to Woodstock Day School through your employer’s matching gift program. Many companies match their employee’s charitable donations. Please talk with your human resources department to ask if your company has such a program and to find out how to take advantage of it.
