Lindsay has taught grades Kindergarten through Sixth as a permanent substitute at Mt. Marion Elementary School for three years before joining the community here at WDS in February 2010. Lindsay has taught Kindergarten through Second Grade as well as served as a literacy specialist for the lower school. She is currently the Kindergarten teacher. Lindsay received her Masters from Suny Albany and is dually certified as a literacy specialist as well as a classroom teacher for grades k-6.

When Lindsay is not exploring and learning with her students, she is out walking her dog and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Since the age of five, Lindsay has spent her time performing and singing as a member of the Woodstock Youth Theatre. Singing and acting are still Lindsay’s passions and you can find that she incorporates her love of theater into her teaching. Lindsay has a love of reading and writing as well and ensures that her classroom encourages and supports this love to engage her students in their own literacy development. “It’s important to me that my students develop their own sense of inquiry so they can question and investigate the world around them in a variety of ways.”
